Man denies alleged N15m fraud allegation by ex-wife
Lucky James has denied allegations of N15 million fraud leveled against him by his ex-wife, Tega Amanda. Amanda claimed that James defrauded her of the said amount after she withdrew a criminal charge against him at the magistrates’ court in Lagos.
In response, James refuted the allegations, stating they were entirely false. He acknowledged that a previous charge against him was dismissed by the court, emphasizing that he did not commit any additional N15 million fraud. James asserted that there was no marriage between them and accused Amanda of using him and his investments.
He also denied committing forgery and stealing, alleging that Amanda forged a marriage certificate and changed their daughter’s birth certificate without his consent. James stated that he had already petitioned the Police in Zone 2 regarding these claims.
