Bar. Dosu Babatunde, Osun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy, has planted violence in the Ile-iran community at Ikire-Iwo Road, Oke- Osun, Iwo, Ayedire Local Government Area, Osun State, Nigeria.

The action of this aforementioned Commissioner has to be properly checked by the Osun State Government before he set the whole community ablazed. His imposed Oba (Hon. ‘Kunle Omolola) has started terrorising the community on account of threatening them to encroach their lands

On the 15th of January, 2025, the imposed king came to the Ile-iran village to campaign for forthcoming local government elections. He threatened the masses that their farm would be encroached if they don’t vote for his preferred candidate in forthcoming local government elections. This action has caused the majority of the masses in the village to prepare for the said election like war. They want the imposed king to do his worst, and they are ready for the battle.

We are appealing to the Governor Ademola Adeleke, Dr Adedeji Adeleke, Yeye Dupe Adeleke, Her excellence Ngozi Adeleke and the co-member of Adeleke Dynasty to come-in into this matter before it boomerang. So that the name that has been built from the inception of Nigeria will not spoil from the wishes of this desperate Commissioner.

We are also calling the honourary body of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to call Bar. Dosu Babatunde to order before he will be wasting life of innocent people in Ile-iran.

Bar. Dosu Babatunde action has to be questioned because this imposed king (Hon. ‘Kunle Omolola) is not Governor Ademola Adeleke’s supporter, he is from Dr Dotun Babayemi’s camp “Anigba”, of which his loyalty to the PDP party is Hundred percent doubtful because their camp has officially moved to APC party. If PDP party membership is the criteria to choose someone outside from our village to be our king, we are having bonafide PDP members in the rightful family that next to be our king.

Once again, we are begging everyone who values a peaceful environment over violence to help us in this situation before it can go out of hand.

Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi (Telu1), Oba Ogunwusi Enitan (Onirisa), Oba Abdul-Rauf Mosobalaje (Olupo) and our leaders in Yoruba race should please come-in into this matter before it will be claiming innocent lives.
