The Osun Primary Healthcare Renovation Project Committee were in the remote and hinterland part of the state today again in their continuous drive to deliver on the mandate of Governor Ademola Adeleke for provision of access to quality basic healthcare service for the people of Osun State.

*The project team led by Dr Akindele Adekunle, the Special Adviser on Public Health were in Amuye-Faforiji and Igangan-Ijesha to assess the level of progress of the Primary health facilities in those communities undergoing rehabilitation and upgrades in the 3rd and 4th phase of rehabilitation, renovation and upgrading of 345 primary healthcare centres in Osun State under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.*

*Other communities and primary healthcare centres visited today includes, Erin-Ijesha PHC, Erin-Oke PHC, Ira-Ikeji PHC, and Ere-Ijesha PHC all in Oriade local government.*

In all, the state project team has toured 30 local government area of the state to assess 60% level of completion for the 3rd and 4th phase of the ongoing intervention in the primary healthcare system in the state.

The project assessment and monitoring continues as scheduled.
