Ile-iran village is located at Ikire-Iwo Road, Oke Osun, Ayedire local government, Iwo, Osun State

There are two ruling house in the village according to their history (Orunmo and Olaitan), of which “Akinwon” family became ruling family from “Olaitan” family slot.

The late king Oba Sawiyu Alao, Gbadewolu I, was from the “Orunmo” family, without argument the next king suppose to come from Olaitan ruling house

Hon. ‘Kunle Omolola, who was from Elefon village, one of the villages under Ile-iran, has been running from one political leader to another in order to Hijack Kinship of Ile-Iran village

Research review that Elefon village is one of the villages under Ile-iran village, of which they are paying “Isakole” tax to ile-iran village on a yearly basis to establish the fact that they are under Ile-iran kinship. History establishes that Ile-iran village grants Elefon village “Otun” chief title under ile-iran kinship right from ancient times. Hon. ‘Kunle Omolola neither has house in ile-iran nor his father, grand father to his ancestors, but he wants to use his political influence with “Owu” descendants’ power to attain the next king of Ile-iran, Olaitan family that suppose to be the next king of Ile-iran has kicked against the decision and nursing grievances and sees the scenario as pure oppression. This is a threat to the peaceful living of the said village (Ile-iran)

On behalf of the eldest man of Ile-iran village, *Pa. Fatai Iyanda Olaitan,* we are crying to all Yoruba races to come to our aid to protect our community from eternal crisis.

Both paramount rulers (Oba Abdul Rasheed Akanbi, Telu I, Oluwo of Iwoland) and his second class (Oba Abdul Rafiu Mosobalaje, Olupo of Olupanna land) of our community condemned Hon. ‘Kunle Omolola parading himself as new king of Ile-iran because there is due process on appointing king in Yoruba land which Hon. ‘Kunle Omolola has jumped while forcing the villagers to bow for him as a new king.

Recently, another picture was sent to the Internet where Hon.’Kunle Omolola was crowned inside an office against Yoruba culture and tradition

We are begging his excellence. Gov. Ademola Adeleke (Asiwaju) to critically look into this matter before it causes violence. The battle of Modakeke – Ife has existed for many decades, Ifon-Ilobu is there, as well as Oba, which has claimed lives of uncountable innocent citizens

We are crying out to all Yoruba leaders, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Oluwo of Iwoland, (Oba Abdul Rasheed Akanbi) Olupo of Oluponna (Oba Abdul Rafiu Mosobalaje), Ooni of Ife (Oba Enitan Ogunwusi), Gov. ‘Seyi Makinde, Chief Bode George, Atona of Odua, Chief Gani Adams, Chief Sunday Igboho and the rest, to come to our aids to safe our community from eternal crisis that may arise from aggrieved oppressed party
