Concern Over Ayedire Local Government’s Exclusion and Perceived Unfair Treatment in Media Opportunities

Dear @⁨Malam Olawale Rasheed⁩ ,

With utmost respect, I write to express deep concern over the continued exclusion of Ayedire Local Government representatives from key media-related activities and appointments under the present administration. The most recent instance, involving the media training facilitated by Hon. Bamidele Salam, has again left our local government sidelined without justifiable reason.

It is particularly disheartening that despite Ayedire’s consistent loyalty and contribution to the success of the PDP-led government in Osun State, our local media practitioners and communication officers are often overlooked in both training invitations and strategic appointments.

Your office, as the Chief Spokesperson to His Excellency, Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, has been pivotal in shaping the government’s public image. However, the pattern of exclusion raises serious concerns about fairness, inclusiveness, and equal representation within the media structure of this administration.

Ayedire has capable, committed, and qualified media professionals who have continually promoted the vision of the Governor and the party. Denying them participation or recognition not only dampens morale but also contradicts the Governor’s inclusive governance policy and his promise of fairness across all local governments.

We appeal to your good conscience and sense of justice to address this imbalance urgently. Representation matters — and it is only fair that Ayedire’s voices, talents, and contributions find expression within Osun’s media landscape.

We remain committed to the success of the Adeleke administration and urge your office to uphold the principles of equity, transparency, and inclusivity that define the people’s government.
