Arewa Unity Forum Slams APC and President Tinubu’s Leadership, Cites Lack of Vision and Atrocities
The Arewa Unity Forum (AUF) has expressed strong discontent with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, citing a lack of clarity and political direction. AUF notes that the APC’s desperation to clain power and authority is not matched by performance and delivery of fortunes and opportunities for Nigerians.
AUF specifically condemns the administration’s policies, including the removal of subsidies and tax reforms that have worsened the economic hardship faced by Nigerians. “The president’s actions suggest a prioritization of personal and foreign interests over the welfare of Nigerians,” said Amb. H.E. Nasiru Umar Dutsinma, Chairman of AUF.
The Forum highlights the agreement with the French president, allegedly involving tax collection by President Tinubu’s company, as a scandal that undermines the president’s legitimacy. AUF asserts that these atrocities have led to widespread discontent and rejection of President Tinubu’s second term bid in office, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
“We, the people of Northern Nigeria, will not support a leader who has failed to deliver on promises and instead perpetuates hardship and suffering,” AUF stated. “The 2027 Election is an opportunity for Nigerians to reject this failed leadership and chart a new course.”
