………Youth Mobilization Takes Center Stage in Osun Politics

Politics thrives on strategy, structure, and the ability to connect with the people at the grassroots level. In today’s political landscape, one undeniable truth remains the youth are the backbone of every successful movement. Recognizing this reality, Gov. Ademola Adeleke has once again demonstrated political foresight by giving young people a central role in the continuation of his administration’s political journey.

The Imole Youth Campaign Mobilization Team was inaugurated on May 5, 2026, at Admus Hotel, Oshogbo, under the leadership of David Adeleke popularly known as Davido. The program was well organized, peaceful, and highly successful, which is commendable as it was conducted smoothly without any form of casualty or disorder.

The team further established the fact that the outstanding performance of Governor Ademola Adeleke continues to speak loudly across Osun State, with visible projects and achievements that many residents can testify to. However, the need remains to consistently remind the people to continue supporting the leadership that is delivering results.

One of the notable moments of the event came from Engr. Lukman Ayodeji Bello, aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives representing Iwo Federal Constituency (Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa). He delivered the opening prayer and later addressed members of the committee with strong emphasis on grassroots political engagement.

During his address, he drew the attention of the entire committee to the importance of grassroots mobilization, which he described as the foundation of every successful political movement.

He encouraged members of the team to remain closer to the masses and stated:

“If we do not do it, others will do it and take the glory.”

He further highlighted key areas the committee must focus on from now until the end of the political struggle, stressing that opposition parties often spread misleading information against the current administration. He therefore urged members to remain active and vigilant in defending the achievements and performance of the government both online and offline.

The inauguration concluded successfully, with members leaving the venue energized and committed to the task ahead. More importantly, the event marked the beginning of what many supporters believe will become a stronger and more organized youth-driven political movement across Osun State.

As political activities gradually build toward the coming electoral cycle, one thing is becoming increasingly clear, youth participation is no longer optional in modern politics; it is essential.

God bless Osun State.

God bless Nigeria.
