Pantami’s lawyers write INEC, give Wednesday deadline to publish his name on Gombe governorship list

The legal team of Isa Pantami, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Gombe, has challenged the omission of his name from the final list of candidates recently released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a letter dated October 12 and addressed to Joash Amupitan, INEC chairman, Pantami’s legal team gave the commission until Wednesday to publish the PDP’s candidate name on the final governorship for Gombe in the 2027 general election.
