The lawmaker representing Ayediire-Iwo-Ola Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Lukman Kayode Mudasiru, (L&K) has stated that Nigeria can only grow when there is unity and sincerity of purpose both by the people and the government.

While congratulating Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 63rd year independence Day Celebration, Mudasiru in a statement made available to newmen in Iwo on Sunday commend Nigerians for their resilience and brotherhood spirit evident in the peace in country despite economic hardship in the country.

He added that for any nation to develop the people of that nation must be united and must be sincere with the purpose, which is to grow the nation as well as the people in that nation.

He said “I want to congratulate Nigerians for witnessing yet another independence day celebration, which marks the 63rd in our nation’s history.

“Let me say that it takes unity and sincerity of purpose to build a nation so for Nigeria to grow, there must be unity of purpose, which means everyone of us are on one page.

“There must be sincerity of purpose as well, this means we are all staying on the purpose that we have all agreed on, not that someone is facing another direction when we have agreed on one direction.

“And I must commend Nigerians for their resilience and brotherhood spirit, which is evident in the peace that we are witnessing in Nigeria despite the economic hardship in the country.

“So we don’t have to give up on Nigeria, if we work together, we can and we will achieve alot, God bless Nigeria”.
