Ganfen Lithium Industry Limited Nigeria, a Chinese company operating in Nasarawa State, has raised concerns about an impersonating company operating under the name ‘Ganfen Lithium Group Co Ltd.’ This impersonation is threatening the legitimate company’s corporate existence in Nigeria. The genuine company has called on the federal government to intervene and investigate the activities of the impersonating entity.

In a statement signed by Andrew Kekunkun, Chief of Ganfeng staff in Nasarawa, the company clarified that Ganfen Lithium Industry Limited, Nigeria, is a legally registered independent limited company operating within the bounds of Nigerian laws. Its business scope includes lithium ore exploration, extraction, laboratory analysis, processing, and sales of lithium carbonate.

The company emphasized that it operates in Nigeria based on its own corporate culture and vision for the future, without relying on resources or influence from Ganfeng Lithium Group Co., Ltd. The genuine company expressed concern that the impersonating entity was using its name to conduct unauthorized activities in Nigeria.
