Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has confidently declared that no force can destabilize Bauchi, citing the state’s unity and resilience. This statement comes on the heels of a visit from the National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who expressed admiration for his leadership and achievements in delivering developmental projects to the people of Bauchi.

Led by Kamaludeen Ajibade, the National Legal Adviser of the PDP, the delegation praised Mohammed’s unwavering commitment to the party and his pivotal role in keeping the PDP strong. Ajibade noted that the visit was an opportunity to discuss pressing issues and strategize for future successes.

In response, Governor Bala thanked the NWC members and reiterated his dedication to advancing the PDP’s cause. He emphasized that leadership decisions are driven by responsibility, not personal affiliations, referencing his relationship with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

This statement is seen as a response to Wike’s recent threat to “put fire” in PDP-controlled states undermining his position ¹. However, Governor Bala remains committed to unity and development, boasting that Bauchi has enough resources to handle any challenges.

With his focus on unity and development, Governor Bala Mohammed remains determined to overcome potential challenges and maintain peace in Bauchi State.
