Service To Humanity: Honouring Invitations Is Part of Effective Representation

The Obafemi Awolowo University Alumni Association, Iwo Chapter recently extended invitations to notable personalities across Ayiwola Constituency for its Annual Dinner Night and Awards Ceremony.

The event, held on 4 April 2026, brought together dignitaries from Ayedire, Iwo, and Ola-Oluwa Local Government Areas. The ceremony was graced by Malam Olawale Rasheed, spokesperson to the Executive Governor of Osun State, representing His Excellency Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke. Traditional rulers (Obas) from across Ayiwola Constituency and other distinguished guests were also in attendance.

Notably, among the three aspirants invited for the Ayiwola Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, only Engr. Lukman Ayodeji Bello was represented at the event. This gesture underscored the importance of responsiveness and engagement with the people one seeks to represent ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Engr. Lukman Ayodeji Bello is widely known for his consistent commitment to community service and grassroots engagement within Ayiwola Constituency. His leadership approach is marked by humility, accessibility, and a readiness to contribute meaningfully regardless of scale towards the development of his homeland.

Due to an unforeseen tight schedule, Engr. Ayodeji Bello was ably represented by Esv. Tadese Yaqub Abiodun, alongside Comrade Ogunbiyi Tolulope Akintola (Director-General, Igba Otun Media), Otunba Arc. Tunji Ogunrinu (Former Vice-Chairman, Ayedire South LCDA), Comrade Sodiq Olaitan  (Media Aide, Hon. ‘Deji Bello Media Cartel), and Comrade Fawas Alao (Media Aide, Hon. ‘Deji Bello Media Cartel).

Engr. Ayodeji Bello expressed his sincere appreciation to the OAU Alumni Association, Iwo Chapter, commending the body for its sustained contributions to societal development. He wished the association continued growth and greater impact in service to humanity across Ayiwola Constituency and beyond.
