ADC Crisis: Another Evidence Review To Solidify The Authentic National Chairman Of Sen. David Mark

13th of April, 2026.

Nafiu Bala signed his resignation letter in my presence — Nkem Ukandu, ADC chief

He made this claim at interview with Tribune Newspaper.

He said: If Nafiu had said I signed under duress, it would have been understandable. If he says I did not sign, that means it is a different thing altogether because I have all the records where he signed his signatures, the attendance to meetings and so on. I personally am the one who gave him the forms and the documents to sign because he is an illiterate. He could not even write, so the only thing he can remember to write is his name. Even to write his position is a problem.

If you check the letter where he resigned, you could see that he didn’t spell ‘chairman’ correctly. So, if Nafiu said I signed under duress, it would have been a different thing altogether, but saying I did not sign, they forged my signature that is not true at all. It should be put to the test. I am saying that l am the one who gave him the documents to sign, not that I delegated someone, I gave them to him to sign in my presence.
