Tension as bandits invade Oyo schools, kidnap principal, kill two

Villages like Oko Ile, Ahoro Dada, Olokiti and other villages sharing boundaries with Yawota and Esinele Oyo in Oriire Local Government of Oyo State have been thrown into tension as suspected bandits invaded Community Secondary School, Esinele Oyo and the government basic school in the village.

The famale principal of the school and scores of students were kidnapped.

The suspected kidnapped are said to have arrived the schools on numbers of motorcycles and a teacher of the secondary school named Mr Adesiyan Joel was shot dead.

The bandits then proceeded to Yawota where they kidnapped a teacher and scores of students at First Baptist Church Nursery and Primary School, Yawota and one okada rider was killed in the process.

Security operatives have arrived the scene for nomalcy to be restored
