OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL

I, Prince Adewale Gomez, hereby formally announced my voluntary withdrawal from the Senatorial race representing Lagos Central Senatorial District under the platform of African Democratic Congress.

This decision was reached after careful consultation and deep personal reflection, driven by my unwavering commitment to the broader national interest and the success of our presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

At this critical moment in our nation’s democratic journey, I believe it is necessary to dedicate my full energy, resources, and political engagement toward supporting and campaigning vigorously for the presidential aspiration of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, whose vision, experience, and leadership capacity I strongly believe can reposition Nigeria for unity, stability, and national development.

My withdrawal should therefore be seen as an act of loyalty, sacrifice, and strategic political commitment aimed at strengthening our collective cause and ensuring victory for our party at the highest level.

I sincerely appreciate my supporters, political associates, stakeholders, and the good people of Lagos Central Senatorial District, for their encouragement, trust, and unwavering support throughout this journey. I remain committed to the progress of our party and the advancement of democratic values in Nigeria.
