The Bauchi State Chapter of the PDP Youth Group Red Cap Movement has lambasted Odion for his recent media releases, labeling them as useless and a means of self-disgrace. The group’s criticism stems from Odion’s defense of certain individuals in Edo State, where Governor Bala Mohammed had previously campaigned for the PDP’s victory.

The group questioned Odion’s motives, asking where those he defended in Edo State are now. They emphasized that the Edo State election is a collective responsibility, but they will not stand idly by while things go awry within their party.

The PDP Youth Group urged Odion to consolidate the efforts of Governor Bala Mohammed’s led Governor’s Forum and deliver his Senatorial district for the party on Saturday, 21st. They cautioned him against becoming a perpetual political agent.

This development comes as the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman, expressed optimism that the PDP will emerge as the majority in the forthcoming general election. Governor Mohammed’s leadership qualities have reportedly led to some APC lawmakers defecting to the PDP.

The group’s statement highlights the internal dynamics within the PDP as the election approaches. With tensions running high, the party’s unity and coordination will be crucial in securing victory.
