Governor’s Aide Donates Salary to Party Members, Name 60 Monthly Beneficiaries

Honourable Nurudeen Emiloju, the Special Adviser on Community and Social Development Projects (CSDP) to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has made a generous decision to donate his monthly emoluments as an Aide to the Governor to the constituents, especially targeting members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Iwo.

This significant announcement was made during the weekly general meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Iwo Local Government, held on Wednesday.

During his address at the event, Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju expressed, “I’m taking this step to bolster the commendable strides witnessed in Osun State, particularly in Iwo, under the capable leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, our esteemed leader.”

He further reiterated, “The exceptional advancements in various sectors such as health, education, infrastructure projects, and community social interventions in the state are commendable. I aim to complement these efforts by donating my monthly salaries to the entire party structure in my local government. This is to ensure our party members feel included and appreciated within the present administration of the state.”

Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju, during the party meeting, generously contributed five hundred and fifty thousand naira (#550,000:00) to the members present and also designated 60 party members as beneficiaries of his monthly salary and emoluments as an Aide to the Governor.

The local government’s party Chairman, Alhaji Alidu, expressed gratitude to the Special Adviser for his inclusive approach to politics. He urged other appointees of the Governor from the state to follow suit and embrace a more comprehensive and inclusive political approach.

This gesture by the Governor’s Aide stands as a notable example of selflessness and a commitment to ensuring a sense of belonging and support for party members within the governance structure of the state.
