The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to make all Federal Government tertiary institutions tuition-free to alleviate the hardships caused by the removal of fuel subsidies in Nigeria.

ECWA President, Rev. Stephen Panya, commended Tinubu for efforts to restore the value of the naira but stressed the need for immediate and far-reaching intervention measures to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal, inflation, unemployment, and poverty.

The appeal includes a call to increase workers’ wages significantly and make federal tertiary institutions tuition-free. Additionally, responsible fiscal management and efforts to unite the nation were emphasized.
