The honourable representing Iwo Federal Constituency, Hon. Lukman Kayode Mudasiru doesn’t know what to do on the issue of scholarship sponsored at the earlier time of his attained office. Our corresponding comes across the letter written to this effect on 12th of September, 2024. Read the letter below:-

NOTICE TO L&K SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

In Ahman Pategi University.

Dear L&K Scholarship Students,

Important Update Regarding Accommodation Coverage

We have been informed by the L&K Scholarship Board that, regrettably, their scholarship will not cover accommodation costs for the upcoming academic year.

In light of this development, the University Management advises all affected students to take one of the following steps:

1. Pay the university hostel accommodation fee of ₦150,000 per session from your own pocket.
2. Explore alternative housing arrangements.

Please note that the University will no longer be able to provide free accommodation to L&K Scholarship recipients. We encourage you to make necessary arrangements as soon as possible to ensure a smooth transition.

The letter in question was retracted within a very short time from the Secretary to the Registrar, Mr Umar Idris. The reason behind the Notice (letter) and its retraction is best known to the both party involved, we are much concern to put the interest of the parents involved forward in a way that the scholarship will not end up in wasting of time for the students when their parents are relax already or incapacitating to continue where the Rep. (Hon. Lukman Kayode Mudasiru) stops.

RETRACTION NOTICE

Ahman Pategi University

Dear L&K Scholarship Students,

We write to retract our previous notice regarding the L&K Scholarship accommodation coverage. We have been informed by the L&K Scholarship Board that our earlier statement was incorrect and based on misinformation.

The L&K Scholarship Board has confirmed that they will indeed cover the accommodation costs for all students on the scholarship, as originally intended. In fact, the Board has pledged to pay for the full 4 years of accommodation for all students on the scholarship.

We deeply regret the inconvenience and distress caused by our earlier notice. Please disregard the previous communication, and rest assured that your accommodation costs will be fully covered by the L&K Scholarship Board.
